Eden

Went to the Eden Project today. Absolutely superb for kids and their big kid chauffeurs alike. It’s so nice to go somewhere that, yes, is s business running to make a living, but which feels like it is backed with integrity. The cafeteria was reasonably priced for value and the food was excellent. Prepared in-house, delicious and healthy. Such a contrast to the overpriced junk prevalent at places like Legoland.

We got round everything, but it was a full out day. The kids were shattered, but had all had a great day. The “Discovery Trail” was great for keeping their interest, and making sure you got around the whole site to boot.

Oh yeah. There was a stone hut structure near the top of the site. Now I am NOT an arachniphobe, but these guys did put the willies up me.

So. Long day, but very well worth it. The fact third can be credated from an old quarry really puts one’s own gardening efforts in perspective.
