So, it turns out Doglet’s not on the verge of death, not at the moment anyway. Having had us both convinced that she had done something serious to her back, pelvis or hips, she’s back to normal. The recovery cycle was in line with a muscle strain so it seems, at the moment anyway, that she managed to strain something (groin strain maybe?) but it’s all better now.
She’s still getting the gas at the vet though, as planned. She’ll be off to get those teeth cleaned and hopefully get a complimentary pedicure. If they do it while she’s out cold, no one will lose any blood this time!
