Doglet had a second trip to the vet today, for what I thought was to be an x-ray appointment. Because I was working in Glasgow today, Mark high tailed it out of the office a little earlier to take her in for the appointment.
Once there, he found out that it was just another assessment visit with the requirement to book the x-ray at a later date as doglet will have to be lightly sedated for this process (something that has not been done before for any x-rays she and Norman had in the U.S.). The appointment is set for Monday and I have a midwife visit at the same time so will work to reschedule doglet for next Friday and a possible dental cleaning at the same time while under sedation.
She seems to be doing a little better this evening, just exhibiting a little stiffness in her hind end but still limiting her jumping up onto furniture unless there is an offer of a lap. Uncharacteristically, she slept in her crate all last night, but our bed is quite high and we didn’t want to encourage her to over exert herself.
With some improvement today we are hoping that she has only pulled a muscle while out at the park on Saturday…fingers’ crossed.
